My sarracenia does not die back completely, but like you said, they slow down & some of the pitchers dried off (more than usual). I also see some phylloda-like pitchers, but they do have openings at the mouth of the pitchers. Semi-dormancy? But all through this period, they are flowering non-stop, so there's a possiblity that all this are not dormancy, instead it's just exhaustion from flowering.
Finally, last week looks like they are making a comeback

My rubra has it's tallest pitcher, will try to measure! Btw, everyone says that sarracenia flowers are always taller than the pitchers, my plants behave otherwise, any explaination?
