A gift from a friend 

a red pitcher with green peristome.
anyone know how to tell whether its a (red x green) or (green x red)?

Looks very red to me. This is an Oddball though with pale peristome. Congrats in having an oddity, it's like something you can't buy. You might want to monitor and see if this pitcher is a one off or it happens to all pitchers.

Hi Naj, are you sure this is a cross between red and green? It looked so red. Nice plant you have.

I myself not sure whether its a cross. But a red albo will not have green peristome is it?
Or is this plant a variety of red albo?

Perhaps the plant is still small and the true colours of its pitchers are not fully developed yet. Wait for a more mature pitcher to see how it turns out.
