ampullaria"painted face"
« Thread Started on May 9, 2008, 8:37pm »
one of my red ampullaria pitchers showing another unusual colour. There are 5 pitchers with one having the following strange colour. To say they receive different light level does not make sense as the whole plant receive direct sunlight, was grown in the garden. Hard to explain , anyway enjoy.

errr.... Like those medieval fancy dish... those half-baked and half-boiled pork they served on the long long table... the one with apple inside the mouth... Hehehe... It's a case of too much light to one side eh david?
My d. filliformis is putting out branched leaf tips... Confusing... Mebbe it's the missing link between d. binata and d. filliformis... Something like archeopteryx... the missing (that was found... duh~) between birds and dinos...

Thanks all for viewing and the interest shown.
It will be interesting to see what the ground pitchers look like -pitchers with indivudual all red, all green or one or two with "painted face"
