What I did was first put the whole VFT pot into another larger pot filled with RO/rain water. With the water reaching the brim of the VFT pot. This helps loosen the medium. Then take out the pot and turn it upside down . The plant with the medium will just slip right out. I have to carefully remove the moss around the plant and try not to break the roots.

With the whole plant exposed, pull your selected leaf downward. This is leaf pulling with some rhizome.

I am not sure how other CP friends did to obtain their leaf pulling. Any simpler method?

Anyway , I actually have three leaf pullings of different conditions as experiment.
1) Unhealthy leaf with rhizome and root (this is what posted above. Successful)
2) Healthy leaf with some rhizome (Still in progress. But looks like there is growth. Should be able to conclude in 1 month time)
3) Healthy leaf with mininum rhizome (Still in progress.Seems to be unsuccessful)

Will post more updates when I have them.
