Maybe kltower can answer you with this question. I do not have an altitude meter. But I noticed they grow at the same altitude as macfarlanei. N. macfarlanei grows on very humid and cool areas in this particular highland jungle. It is very wet with water dripping off cliff.

However, there are some that grow outside this habitat in more open sites but is very near to the marfarlanei sites
