If you compare the two photos, you will see that the plants are already producing new pitchers. Cephs are slow-growing so you can't expect the same speed of growth as Neps. They are for extremely patient or can't-be-bothered people who are willing not to check on them everyday. I have been trained by the plants themselves to ignore them.
