Why did you waste the cuttings? They still can be used even though they are thin.......unless you have no rooting hormone.....or any soil at all....hehehe.

Here's a quote from The Savage Garden book by Peter d'Amato

'Nepenthes alata-This is a beautiful plant and very adaptable to warmer or cooler conditions, often excelling on windowsills or outdoors........'

I think this means that since alata is an adapatable plant to LL condition, thats why ventrata is adaptable too.
