yeah...i personally would not advise dry dormancy, pitcher plants and venus flytraps need cold and shorter days of light, as thats how they usually flourished in the US. Im tellin ya. crisper in your refrigerator is next to best or nothing, and if you do experience like 7 ft of snow, then mulch with pine tree boughs, you can make a protective bubble against dry freezes and sorts. Make sure you pile it high, and its good for acidity, so you dont have to worry about minerals seeping through to your plants.
