David, I am not sure which terrestrial utric would work. 'Cos terrestrial ones are still grown rather wet like U. sandersonii. And the epiphytic ones are mostly cool growing?

Ken, actually it isn't time consuming at all. The moss is planted as a few specks (~2mm) of green on the mound and spreads over time. Cephs are potted this way to prevent rotting at the crown area as well as to encourage the plant to send out offshoots. In the wild, some of them grow on slopes. Very interesting.
