Default Re: Athene's 'would love to have' list

Amelia,

You can have most of the plants, if you don't mind paying for them. The current BE prices are listed (in US dollars).

N. aristolochioides BE S $40
N. chaniana
N. edwardsiana
N. gymnamphora
N. hamata BE S newly seed grown $120!
N. hispida
N. inermis BE S $40
N. jacquelineae BE XS $72
N. jamban BE S $120
N. khasiana BE L $16
N. klossii
N. mirabilis var. echinostoma BE S $8 / M $12
N. papuana
N. rajah BE S $8
N. sumatrana Fauzi S RM50

From time to time, MT offer chaniana as pilosa for under $10.

You can forget edwardsiana. BE did offered XS plants sometime back but at a few hundred US dollars each. Moreover, you really need a fridge to grow them!

As for klossii, I believe, they will be able within 5 years. Although no seeds had been collected thus far, cuttings of a few plants had been taken by the Indonesians earlier this year, and one of the plant is female. But you have to pay top dollars for the cutting grown plants. Note: klossii is a high plant.
