VALMIGO Hi all,

I'm new to carnivorous plants and have become interested and fascinated by seeing the greenhouse devoted to CPs my old FSU colleague has on his property. Right now, I am in Newfoundland and amazed at how many bogs can be found here. Most of the plants I see are Sarracenias but also many sundews. I was amazed at how small sundews are.
As for my background, I'm a retired USAF navigator having flown in B-52s, C-130s and RF4c reconnaissance jets. I also retired as director of the Fels Planetarium and Imax Theater at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. ObviouIly, Im also very interested in astronomy and optical instruments and photography.

I've taken lots of photos of the plants I see here and will happily post them if needed.
