Reading around, some sources say that sand is very helpful to keep the soil from breaking down and compacting the roots too much. And I'll say that aquarium sand looks nice too  |
yes, the 1mm diameter type, if you use it, the surface might looks dry, but when you dig in, inside is wet(after 5 days without watering, a small pot), you can imagine using that now, I use it because I read some online information too, look nice as well, but too bad, don't work out well for me
