Remarks:
N. x ventrata is recently subject to several debates with regards to if it is really a natural hybrid and if the commercially available ones have only the ventricos x alata parentage, or maybe there are back crosses or even a 3rd species involved.
Most probably that the real natural hybrid will only have the two parents, while the man made hybrid that came out of Japan might have a back cross or a 3rd species.
The hybrid can take cooler climates like the ventricosa, yet tolerate warmer conditions like the Alata. It grows quite well and fast. Seems to tolerate a bit drier or well drained medium. Pitchers well.
