Most of my seedlings are starting to get big enough to see with the naked eye now so perhaps in a month or two I'll be able to try this out on a larger scale! By the way, I started planting various Drosea species in plug trays (1" round cells of 105 cells per tray) filled with various mixes as tests. I tried to go heavy on the sand as everyone says this helps with algae growth. Well, it must have helped the algae a
lot 
as I have so much it's coating the media surface of about half the cells! The plug trays have been sitting in cookie sheet type trays which I flood from the bottom occasionally. I've been keeping them very wet as that's what I thought they liked, but this algae growth is a real problem. Any experiences you can share would be appreciated!
