Try break down the figure -air flights + transport + accommodation + drink and foods + porters + pre-arrangement phone calls and email ( other expenses- park fees and insurance) and if ones were to make a separate trip visiting a place at different time the total amount will surpass RM5,500 ( was this the confirmed amount ? ).With Ch'ien's botanical knowledge and field experience it's well worth it.
