Default Sundew found in Malaysia! (part 1)

Not many of us know that our country got wild sundew. There are actually 4 species recorded from Malaysia. They are D. burmannii, D. spatulata, D. indica and D. peltata. I’ve seen quiet a few of Nepenthes and Utricularia in Peninsular Malaysia, but never encountered a single sundew before. I always wondered where are the sundew? Are they already extinct? Or may be I didn’t go to the right habitat?

Let us take a trip on the time machine back in history to 2007. I was in Sarawak for sampling the wild fighting fish (part of USM research). At that time, I got a chance to visit the habitat of D. burmannii in Kuching.
