I had similliar growth on my plants last year and posted photos here,
https://forum.petpitcher.net/showthread.php?t=4570. Some of my plants had formed about 4 flowering heads on a single stalk. The seeds and cuttings I harvested had done the same this year. Mine still grows quite well.
