Well, I'm planning to use about 1/2 cm of aquarium sand as top layer. Rest of the media is peat moss + aquarium sand, water everyday.

I read somewhere in the web saying that a good way of growing big and colourf pitchers is by first putting the ceph under shade until pitchers are big and green, then slowly exposing to light until full sunlight to get redder pitchers. Going to try this when I get my ceph this weekend.
