The plants could skip dormancy when they're one to two years old. But they'll eventually weaken and die if this happen for a prolong period of time.
In the tropic, they go dormant during the cooler months like rainy season. We have to be very careful, don't keep the plant too wet during their dormancy, they tends to rot.
Place the plant in a bright place, remove the water tray, keep the media just moist. After 2 or 3 months, transplant it with new media to wake it up. Treat it like you do to normal sarra, they'll revive.
