Hi Edwin, Arvin is right, you would be better off with a leaf cutting or a root cutting to get a binata gowing. The flowers do require cross pollination so unless your friend had two binata's and they were both flowering then it is unlikely that you will get seeds.

They do not require stratification as they grow here in Australia where we don't get temp's that low. Fresh seeds are always best but Drosera seeds will keep if stored in a fridge for many years.
