I am quite certain that the pitcher trap will rot. The mouse is too big for that particular pitcher and may chew its way out of the pitcher. If not the pitcher will rot. It's just simply too big. Perhaps if the pitcher is larger.
As for the baby mouse in the VFT trap, the trap will not be able to digest the mouse as it cannot create an airtight condition to secrete digestive enzymes to digest the mouse. Most probably the trap will reopen in a couple of hours.
