if you are google, i am sure you can get more answer. Those in my office growing very well under the FL. Since they can tolerate the low lighting. I am believe it is not the lighting issue. Guess you are over watering or too cold in office.

the ZZ plant doesn't require much light, i guess the browning is most probably due to overwatering. the cold temp and low lights means the plant requires even less water than it's already low water requirements.
depending on how much water you water each time, i think you might be able to do with watering twice or even once a week.

Hmmm. I never knew this story quoted in Wikipedia;
Usage
The leaves of the plant have been used by "sjamans" in the jungles of Ghana to relieve severe stomach ache. When consumed in large quantities it can be deadly. However, when cultivated with coffee for years, the plant can obtain heavy psychedelic effects, which are known by the sjamans in Ghana. This marvel of nature has also been used to relieve severe pains; however, the exact ingredients of the mix are not known outside the tribal structure of Ghana.
