Hi there cpnut,

It must have been thrilling for you to see them growing in the wild. I remembered the first time I saw albos growing in the wild, my heart just went bouncing like a ball. Can feel the blood rush though my veins.

I also noticed too that albos picther and plant will have reddish colouration when they are exposed to sunlight. Like you, those that I saw growing in the shade are green and most of them have no pitcher.

The site where I saw albos was in Perak and the media where some grow are also quite dry.

Good photos for your first try. Keep it up and keep us updated with pictures of nepenthes in Kedah ok? we can compare their growing condions in different locations etc. Thanks for posting
