I thought N.Tobaica grows well in both highland and lowland conditions?Or is it stays small naturally?

I agree with Robert,bellii is a low priced plant but not recommended for newbies cuz it will eventuallly die from shock if the roots are disturbed so that's what i'm afraid of.Nothing else.

Maybe you can try out albomarginata.They stays compact though.
