Great looking plant and 'yes' - you should find a way to hybridize it! Maybe ask Andy, (ATMCCMN here on petpitcher forum) maybe he can mail you something in time? Otherwise, there must be a number of Tillie-freaks in the Philippines! I'd try to see if there isn't a Tillandsia forum there to hook up with - fast! Good luck, your broms look great too!
