Okay, I tried some D. binata 'Multifada Extreme' leaf cuttings in water (cut on March 18, 09) and just checked the results (April 9, 09);
The browned out ones are pieces of leaf stem, just as an experiment. The wider top portion of the leaf (with the sticky glands) seems to do much, much better!
