Actually, was just bored, so snapped a bunch 'O viking pics. Its a fairly variable plant, is easy to grow and the pitchers are nice.


This is the biggest natural grow pitcher. I say natural grown because there was a slightly larger one which got produced after the stoopid caterpillar attack destroyed two pitchers prior.

My "vivid red" rod form has gone into uppers.


The peristome still very dark red, much like the lowers were.

Very nice plant .
The uppers are reminiscent of Nepenthes smilesii 's.

btw are all but the last two pics of the same plant?

Nope, there are 6 different plants total. These belong to the same plants:
(1,2,3), (4), (5,6), (7), (8), (9, 10)

I cna see that the pitchers are quite huge. How big are your plants infurita? mine is only half the size of you pitchers. How big a pot do you plant them in?

The plants are all different sizes, the ones in the middle are roughly the size of BE's small, but the first one is around BE's medium size. The one with uppers...well...I'm sure the vine is more than 2m long by now, its taller than me by a fair bit for sure. The pots are actually rather small relative to the size of the plants, been meaning to repot them for some time now, but...heh...lazy...lalala...
