AT, thanks for the detailed response but must admit I'll need more time to absorb the info and be more observant.
Personally, I have a keen interest in ridleyi and superbum because fully grown specimens are quite breathtaking. Then again, so are a few others!! [sometimes I'm so glad that there're only 18 species to hunt down!]
I have young plants of wandae and grande, but the latter grew a weird shaped fertile frond and new fronds growth were, best described by a friend, "wonky!" Was told that this occurs quite frequently with immature grande.
You mentioned "raising them from seedlings". May I know if you were referring to superbum or ...?
