N. nothiana can get well over 12 inches in length! In fact, I have a photocopy of a [Kew] Garners Chronicles of a
N. northiana in a two page spread, (measuring 8.5 x 11) across the two pages, and at the bottom was a footnote saying 2/3 actual size!
and have seen photos of the larger intermediate pitchers as well. - Rich
