Default Re: N. x trichocarpa

From my experience this plant can grow some long (and sometimes branching) vines and once it does, it tends to start producing basal rosettes like an N. ampullaria. I've had entire 24" pots have their surface covered in basals! It also seems to root fairly easily from cuttings, both in sphagnum/perlite mix or in pure water (1-2 months in either case) but splitting the bottom 1/4" of the stem seems to really help a lot. My mix has always been 60% coco cubes/30% pumice/10% charcoal.
