Perhaps you can try N. tenuis instead? That one is more tolerant of lowland conditions and the pitchers are similar in shape. I hear that the price has dropped recently.
As for both jamban and jacquelineae, I've found that both species can take lowland conditions in the day if a temperature drop at night is provided, jamban will be happy with about 20C or lower while jacqueline prefers it cooler and more humid.
Don't know of any hybrids of either though.
