Moss kills CPs ?
« Thread Started on Jun 11, 2007, 9:33am »
I read from my Savage Garden book that normal decorative green moss is actually lethal to CPs. Is this true ? It doesn`t say why & I can`t think of any reason either.
Anyone got experience on this ?

I think the book means if the moss overgrown, it may cover and suffocate the small CPs esp VFTrap plantlets. However, my d.spatulata are doing fine on moss.

I think it means decorative green moss and not the moss overgrowing the plant. Perhaps decorative green moss sold in USA has already been processed with chemicals or coloring and that is the stuff that kills CPs.
