I don't have answers to all questions... hope others can help.

1. Cutting is like an adult plant of a few years old. Gender of the clone never change.
2. Rather than age, it is the plant size and health that decide. Flower spike gets longer with more flowers as the plant gets larger. Flower size stays the same.
3. Usually, there is only one flower spike from one growing tip at any time. Multiple growing point on a stem generates more flower spikes. If not mistaken, very few species can have more than one spike from a growing tip.
