I'm not a collector (wish to be if my garden is a corner lot one)but I like this species alot, it's just that I only have space for my Neps and some tills and small shrubs and nothing more. But I've been enjoying this plumeria tree at my office building garden, it's been blooming like mad since August. It's a petch-sai-rung. Link to Post - Back to Top Loggedsweethalo

I love them as well but unfortunately they grow into a tree. Too big for my balcony. Link to Post - Back to Top Loggedsweethalo

Yes Plumeria = Fragipani as we know it in Asia.
There are dwarf varieties that don't grow very big and yet flower readily as the branching habit is compact. You can try those... for eg. the Dwarf Pink Singapore etc. Planting in pots also restrict their growth somewhat.
Hope to see you start having at least one plumeria soon. They can get quite irresistible..ahhaha
Cheers

I just love the smell of the flowers. I've seen people using them in SPA(real ones) as decorations, I wonder if it has any medicinal effects. I love fragrant flowers. I fell in love with Osmanthus (Gui Hua) while visiting China. Now I'm getting the seeds to grow here.

Isaac, yes they have a great fragrance and the thing is different ones smell differently. I have heard that some smell like grapes too... hahah... but most have the same sweet smell...Love the fragrance that they give to the garden.
Will post more when I have new blooms.
