Default Garden Visits

I did some garden visits last weekend but only now I managed to upload all the photos into photobucket. The first one is a collector's garden locate at one of the hills in Penang. I think it's about 680m above sea level amongst prime forest area. THe temperature is about the same as our lowland temperature except for a degree drop or two only. Not so high but it really does wonders to the plants!

Enough of talk. Here are some pics.

View of Penang looking from the top.

Nice truncata as we enter to his garden.

Plentiful of heliconias. I only manage to snap a few shots as most weren't flowering at that time.
Was told this is Hot Rio Night.

Some bromeliads.( My speciality)
Aechmea fosteriana with Neo. Fireball

Alcantarea imperialis rubra.

Neoregela Pink on Black

Neorregelia Vodoo Doll.

Neoregelia Raphael

Neoregelia Grande_Fantastic Garden.

Now coming to Tills.....
Nice blushing xerographica.

Bromeliads arrangement.

Some nice clouds formation.

T. grandis. It really looks like an Alcantarea!

T. ionantha Peanut clump......Was told it always blush red!!!!

T. funckiana. Now this is interesting as I find this plant looks entirely differnt from mine!

More xero.

Capitata Peach turns to rubra?!!!

T. gardneri var. rupicola

Finally.....a T. tectorum with an orchid. How nice they complement each other.

Next one will be another friend of mine with some spiny stuff.
