Default Re: some of my nep

yeah, i would suggest to repot it too, with fast draining media so that you can waters it everyday together with other neps.....this way the humidity can be maintained however, truncata loves the sun very much so do not over shade it....this is where the challenge comes...

my truncata turns out to be a slow grower when i first got it because it is growing in pure sm but later after advised by some sifus, i changed the media to a mixture of sm, coco chips, perlite, charcoal and styrofoam. the media dont looks good because of all the color brown, black, white and green from the moss. and not to forget, truncata love to be overpot at least from my observation and try to get a larger pot so that it wont need repoting in near future....

for me, it is a trial and error at first but it turns out that it started to grow new leaves and with pitchers too..not a great size but at least it proves that truncata likes airy media, high humidity and lots of sunshine too!

why not give it a try rather than wasting the plant by just letting it to dries up.....
