You could use peat-perlite 1:1 or 2:1, or sphagnum moss-perlite 3:1 or 4:1, you may also substitute perlite with silica sand.
You plant looks fine but lack of sunlight, you don't have to repot now but provide more direct sunlight should do good.
The water level shouldn't go higher than 1 cm if the pot is small, let the water to dry out before refill. Try water from the top to replenish new air in the media as water flow down, at the same time flush out minerals that may accumulate in the media.
