Default Re: Byblis guehoi

@David: for byblis liniflora when first I got from Cindy, getting tips from Cindy on how to sow them, so here I quoted from Cindy's

"they need to age a little before sowing. A good 2-3 weeks in the fridge or even longer. Then use 1ml of bleach to 10ml of water to soak them until the purple colouration goes off. Keep an eye on them and don't over bleach. It takes about 4-5 hours to get the seeds completely white.

The seeds can be sown on peat or sphagnum moss. If you want them in their permanent pot, then the usual 50% perlite and 50% peat or sphagnum moss is good. Stand the pot in an inch of water and place the seeds under hot sun. If your bleaching process is done correctly, the seeds would germinate in a week or two's time. If there is still a little of the purple colouration, the seeds will take longer to germinate."

Hope this help.
