You do need two separate plants from most binata's to get seeds. There is one variety that will self seed. If you only have one plant you may as well cut it off. Root cuttings are very effective at reproducing binata. Just cut a root from the plant and place under the surface and keep moist. You will have plenty of plants in no time. This works for quite a lot of Drosera.
