nice shots.

The cool weather tends to make everything grow bigger. Someone said that a lowland nep would fare better in intermediate conditions or even highland. Do you think it`s true ?

« Reply #6 on Aug 14, 2007, 3:26pm » It`s only a very small nursery but it specialises in CPs.....i.e. sarracenias, vfts & neps. Got no name but location : from Equatorial hotel( on your right ) if you are coming from Brinchang, go forward, pass the bend in the road...go until you see the turning to Gunung brinchang...there`s a small market area there which is U-shaped.....the small stall is on the right hand side of the area. it`s only got chicken-coop wire fencing, so even if it`s closed, you can still see the plants.
Another nursery which has cheap tissue cultured neps ( but only 4 varieties ) is Sharmila`s nursery ( not 100% sure of the name ) but it`s located exactly at the road bend as you come from the hotel......

« Reply #7 on Aug 18, 2007, 12:59am » Tarence,
I have seen better neps grown cooler, but there's a limit. Some species will always grow better warm (i.e amps, bicals, raffs, etc.)
But those plants did look well grown.
