Hey,

It's normal for a pitcher to grow after the lid pops open. The pitcher will continue to grow and form normally, but the lid will look small and deformed; it's not a bad sign in any way. Usually, this happens when the plants is exposed to stress - usually heat stress, or after repotting, or when the air and/or media get too dry. But it's better to have a nice-looking pitcher with a shriveled lid than no pitcher at all!
