Marvin, yes some sarras like the ones mentioned by Strath will actually grow flat leaves that does not turn into pitchers.

Thanks Strath for clarification and additional information on your potting mix, plus the technique for dormancy.

This is similar of course to the technique for VFTs, though I think that Sarracenia species might be more tolerant of this and might be able to bounce back better after fridge dormancy.
