Default Re: mist generator

For all of you who are comtemplating in doing what ckhoon is doing, I suggest you get an ultrasonic humidifier instead.

For ultrasonic mist generator (umg) you will have the following disadvantages:
1) Heat
2) Not advisable to run (long) continuously
3) The umg only works at a certain depth
4) The spilling/ bubbling water can cause plant close to the umg to be very wet

You can get a humidfier for RM100 - RM140. I have seen Watson selling Malaysian brand Felton for RM100. But I bought mine at Parkson for RM119. I was told cheap China brands are selling under RM100.

The Felton SC6109 can store 2.5 litres of water. Depending on your setting, you can run for 3 days before refilling. For a closed small tank it can fog up in s few minutes.
