Default Re: L/L Nepenthes in southern Thailand

Site 3 : N. mirabilis & N. gracilis

This is the 3rd site. Different type of forest, more undergrowth on the forest floor as sunlight can penetrate better with sparse canopy.

mirabilis-06 Sorry for the blurry pic. I've noticed some N. mirabilis from this location have slightly squatter/fatter lower pitchers. Perhaps it's a link to the evolutionary path of N. globosa "Viking" ??

Thanks for viewing, sorry for the long long post even it's just for some common L/L neps but I felt it's important for me to document and share among fellow enthusiast. I have a strong feeling it's just a matter of time before what I saw will be all gone in the name of "human development".
