Nepenthe beside highway

Today, I found a group of upper pitchers beside highway.
No one can imaging it just beside highway.

I can't found any lower pitcher and the seeds all gone.

Looks like someone got some N. mirabilis seeds. This is a good find.

i think the seeds already flew away from the seed pods Eric.....

well, on the bright side, all the effort ( starting from catching insects to supplement nutrition to produce flowers etc etc ) of the plant to produce the seeds have not gone to waste. there will be new n.mirabilis plantlets emerging in the future.

Ahah... another nepenthe found at same area, I think this should N. gracilis. Am i right ah?
