Remarks:
One of the "majestic" L/L nepenthes that is vigorous and produce enormous pitchers (giant form). N. rafflesiana is very variable especially those originated from seed. There are also many interesting form/variant for the shape and colour of the pitcher for this species. A good beginner (and for enthusiasts alike) nepenthes species to start with and once you saw the pitchers, there's no return... *biggrin2*

Many interesting natural and man made hybrids involving N. rafflesiana can be found in cultivation and easily available on the market.

Though I am moving away from 100% LFS, my rafflesianas do beautifully in it. I would add that to the media.

Thanks for your input bearcat. :1thumbup:

Usually the info regarding types of media were given as a general reference rather than specific requirement so ppl will get the general idea on what they can source to be use as media(s) at their own locality.
