Large section of the Drosera and Sarracenia are seed grown plants which I obtained through swapping with people in Europe, US, Asia and South America. Just bought a new shadehouse to house my cool temperate species and get out them of the greenhouse. Hopefully have the shadehouse up in the next week. What really scary is I have about 100 punnets of seeds to sow this spring. |

Re: Yet another Growlist
Just updated the grow list. Still got Sarra and VFT to pot up and by end of September seeds should start to germinate. Will update the list in a few weeks.
If you are wondering how I got such a large collection, well some plants have been brought through the local society and commerical business. Drosera binata var dichotoma 'Giant' and most of the Nepenthes and Pinguicula are obtain this way. The rest were gain through swapping, lots and lots of swapping seeds. I do have advantage having access to local native species ie Drosera whittakerii ssp whittakerii, etc. So if you willing to wait for plants to grow up swapping seeds is easy and cheap way to expand your collection as well other fellow collectors.
