The mixture - for a beginner to try out, there is no need to use expensive ingredients. Home made medium will do, the same preparation as orchid growers do.what is required, read the following link. http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...opagation.html To sterilise jars(with or without ingredients) and water ordinary pressure cooker is required. jam jars, beer mugs are excellent. ordinary plastic containers can be used but need to be sterilised before pouring in the cooked ingredients. This has to be done in a sterile chamber ( a laminar flow or glove hood) different jars that i use http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...u/2f4657fe.jpg germination in-vitro. nepenthes are difficult and near impossible to TC from tips, stems, roots or leaves. start with seeds first. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...u/046099d4.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...u/04be5f5b.jpg ...and i use artificial light placing the jars on window sills, lights are filtered. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...u/414983cb.jpg MS and other mixtures, equipments and accessories can be bought from most scientific co. I use fish aquarium as sterile hood. https://forum.petpitcher.net/showthread.php?t=4471 Quote:
