if your burmanii grow new leaf from mother plant. mean it can survive. for the flower stalk you may try as what arvin suggest. if from seed, make sure they are in black color. Then u can keep them or sow them with peat.
i not suggest seed sow in the mother plant pot. So you need give mother plant direct sun. sometime the water might flood and it make your seed gone. So you can take a "taufuhua" container ... mixed with peat and perlite then sow your seed. properly 3-5weeks you can see little babies
