Ali, try soap bubbles on the insect. Make the bubbles using bio-degradeable soap liquid. Pick the bubbles using toothpick, apply to the insect. Leave for 12-24 hours, then give it a good shower. To make a more potent bubble, add a bit of vegetable/palm oil. The purpose of the bubbles/oil is to stop the insect from getting o2.

This works on my aphids problem, but you have to repeat treatment every few days until they are all gone. Otherwise try Neem Emulsion or one of the home remedies using chiilies & garlic etc.

just my 2-cents worth.

well ali,i'm not so sure if you can apply cooking oil directly to the plant.but sure worth a try...i'm actually working in the chemical agricultural industries and they have a product base on oil to be sprayed evenly to a plants infected by thrips.the mechanism of action is to suffocate the pest till dead.if you want to try,i'll advise you to try on just one leaf 1st to test if its work and to see if there is and risk to your nep plant...
